Terms and Conditions — Render
The agreement for using Render to prepare and submit a supported Corporation Tax filing.
Version v1.2-render — effective from 2026-06-01
Render payment
Render asks you to authorise the £39 filing fee before submission. We capture that payment only after HMRC accepts the filing. If HMRC rejects the filing before acceptance, the authorised payment is not captured for that filing.
# Terms and Conditions — Render
**Version v1.2-render — effective from 1 June 2026**
## 1. The service
Render at render.my is operated by Render Technologies Limited ("Render", "we", "us"). The service lets a UK micro-entity director generate and file a Corporation Tax return (CT600 + iXBRL accounts + iXBRL computation) to HMRC. It does not file accounts to Companies House.
## 2. Payment
Render costs £39 per filing. You authorise payment before submitting the form, and Render captures that payment only after HMRC accepts the filing. If HMRC rejects the filing before acceptance, the authorised payment is not captured for that filing.
Payment card entry is handled by Stripe. Render stores payment evidence such as provider reference, amount, currency, authorisation, capture, cancellation, and webhook event status. Render does not store card numbers or sensitive payment-method details.
## 2A. Cancellation and refunds
You can leave the form before submission without being charged. If you authorise payment but do not submit, or if HMRC rejects the filing before acceptance, Render does not capture the payment for that filing.
Once HMRC accepts the filing and Render captures payment, the filing service has been completed. Refunds after HMRC acceptance are considered case by case, including where we have made a material service error or where the law requires a refund. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
## 3. Eligibility
You may use the service only if you are authorised to file a Corporation Tax return for the company whose number you enter, and the company is a UK micro-entity within the meaning of section 384A of the Companies Act 2006.
## 4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for checking the generated filing before submission. Render helps assemble and transmit a return that meets HMRC's technical requirements; it is not tax, accounting, legal, or professional advice.
HMRC may reject, question, or later enquire into a return. Acceptance by HMRC does not mean HMRC has agreed the tax position is correct.
## 5. Liability cap
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any loss arising from your use of Render is capped at the fees you have paid us for the affected filing.
## 6. HMRC's role
HMRC is the legal recipient of the filing. We transmit on your behalf and pass through HMRC's response. We do not amend, redact, or otherwise alter the bytes HMRC returns.
## 7. Your data
Render Technologies Limited holds your account data, company memberships, drafts, and submitted filing records so the service can prepare, submit, and show your filings. You can delete your account at any time from your `/account` page. Deletion is permanent after a 7-day grace period. You will be offered an export ZIP of your data before deletion completes. On deletion, mutable drafts are deleted and submitted filing records are anonymised rather than shown in your account. See our Privacy Policy at `/privacy` for full details.
## 8. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If HMRC's systems are unavailable or a filing result is unclear, we may pause the filing for review before any retry. We cannot guarantee HMRC will accept a filing.
## 9. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms; on amendment, we will publish a new version here and require re-acceptance on your next sign-in.
## 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
